Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Signed Informed consent form and health questionnaire; 2. History of chewing gum usage (minimum 1 time/week); 3. Presence of at least 20 gradable (<25%restoration) natural teeth including 4 gradable molars; 4. History of adequate oral hygiene, i.e., brush teeth daily and exhibit no signs of oral neglect; 5. Willingness to use the assigned products according to instructions; 6. Availability for appointments and likelihood of completing the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Orthodontic bands and appliances; 2. Frank oral disease states, such as severe periodontal disease, open cavities, or severe malocclusion; 3. Serious medical conditions (e.g. phenyIketonuria, diabetes, heart disease, kidney disease, rheumatic fever, mitral valve prolapsed, artificial joint replacement etc.; 4. History of transmittable diseases (e.g. aids, hepatitis, tuberculosis); 5. Use of medications which might interfere with the outcome of the study (e.g. drugs causing dry mouth) within 28 days of study initiation; 6. Pregnant or nursing females; 7. Temporomandibular joint (TMJ) dysfunction; 8. History of allergic reactions, idiosyncrasies, or severe adverse effects following use of chewing gums, dentifrices, mouthwashes, or other dental products.
