Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Between January 1, 2012 and July 31, 2013, 422 consecutive patients, with onset of chest discomfort or abrupt onset of aggravated chest discomfort <12 hours, suspect of AMI, undergoing urgent coronary angiography in our institution, were enrolled for potential analysis.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) previous stenting; 2) undefined culprit vessels; 3) angina pectoris; 4) prior myocardial infarction; 5) normal CAG results; 6) viral myocarditis; 7) cardiomyopathy; 8) chronic total occlusion; 9) coronary artery embolism and 10) transferred elsewhere for further treatment.
