Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Diagnosis of brainstem cavernous malformations; 2. No prior treatment history (radiotherapy or surgery); 3. Patient consent to enter the study; 4. Aged between 18 and 65 years old.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Disagree to follow-up; 2. a prior treatment history (surgery or/and radiotherapy); 3. severe co-morbidities (brainstem, peripheral nerves, or other hazardous lobes that might impact the accuracy of the evaluation of neurological function); 4. pregnancy or breast-feed.
