Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Consecutively nonconstipated patients (aged 18–80 years) who received 2L or 4L PEG-ELS colon preparation before colonoscopy were eligible for enrollment in the study from January 2013 to December 2015.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) cleansed only by enema or no colon preparation; (2) previous finding of severe colonoscopy stricture; (3) pregnant or breastfeeding women; (4) poor general health status (end-stage cardiovascular, pulmonary, liver or renal disease); (5) unable or refuse provide an informed consent.
