Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) recurrent patellar dislocation(= 2times), positive apprehention test; (2) TT-TG distance =15mm; (3) To be able to complete a 2-year follow up.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) previous surgery for patellofemoral joint; (2) type D trochlear dysplasia according to Dejour type of trochlear dysplasia; (3) severe femoral anteverion or valgus knee; (4) presence of patellofemoral joint degenerative arthropathy or supratrochlear spurs; (5) patellar or lateral femoral condyle fractures; (6) knee symptoms on the contralateral leg.
