18 Years to 65 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Acute unilateral Achilles tendon rupture; 2. Aged 18 to 65; 3. Sign the written informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patient refusing to accept the novel surgery; 2. Previous failed surgery on the effected tendon; 3. Chronic Achilles tendon rupture; 4. Bilateral Achilles tendon rupture; 5. Injury accompanied by severe complications; 6. Patient who are unable to follow up.
