Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients, from January 2006 to January 2016 in the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhongshan University, Department of Otolaryngology, diagnosed as early glottic cancer with anterior vocal commissure(AVC) involvement,underwent the surgery treatment(either transoral laser microsurery or partial laryngectomies)
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. In addition to pathological for laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma (Such as adenocarcinoma, adenoid cystic carcinoma, papillary carcinoma etc.); 2. clinical stage Tis-2N0M0 cases outside, such as T3N0M0 or T4N0M0 cases; 3. tumor recurrence,lymph node metastasis or distant metastasis of the patients; 4. patients had received radiotherapy or oropharyngeal surgery; 5. patients with heart, brain, lung or other important organ dysfunction; 6. patients refused to participate in the study.
