Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Diagnosed as acute cerebral infarction; 2. diffusion weighted magnetic resonance imaging (DWI) identified a new ischemic lesion; 3. no more than 3 days after onset; 4. ages are in 18-75 years old; 5. National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) score ranged from 4 to 20; 6. computerized tomography (CT) scanning identified no cerebral hemorrhaging, cancer or trauma; 7. agreement on this study.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. severe cardiac dysfunction; 2. chronic liver disease; elevated aminotransferase (1.5 times more than normal); 3. elevated creatinine (1.5 times more than normal); 4. pregnancy or other hemorrhagic disease; 5. thrombolytic therapy within 1 week; 6. taking angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitor (ACEI) orally within 24 h.
