18 Years to 80 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Age>18 years; coma, a Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS) <=8.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Vital signs are unstable; intake or application of any medication (sedatives, anesthetic agents, antiepileptic agents) that would influence EEG before the initiation of recording process; a known history of severe neurological deficit or multiple organ failure, expected lifespan less than 6 months; peripheral neuropathies; an unsatisfactory EEG recording and patients lost to follow-up.
