Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients aged more than 65 years undergoing elective total knee replacement.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Psychiatric disorder or central nervous system disease, carotid stenosis, history of craniotomy, use of sedatives or antipsychotics, drug or alcohol dependence, visual, auditory or motor disabilities, preoperative MMSE less than 24.
