Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Eligible participants were male and female outpatients aged 18 years or older with a primary diagnosis of VM based on the criteria.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Additional inclusion criteria that specified patients were as follows: two or more migraine attacks per month or very disabling attacks; nonpharmaceutical treatment couldn't change the attacks. Patients with associated benign paroxysmal positional vertigo, Meniere's disease, chronic discharging ear, past history of ear surgery, profound hearing loss, women who were breast-feeding and patients with major cardiovascular, metabolic, gastrointestinal, neurologic diseases, will be excluded from the study.
