Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients in ICU met the VAP criteria and were not associated with other site infection.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Other parts of the infection occurred within 7 days after discontinuation of antibiotic therapy, including urinary tract infections, bloodstream infections, biliary tract infections, central nervous system infections, and so on; 2. The drainage tube of important organs can not be extracted within 14 days, such as ventricular drainage and lumbar cistern drainage, chest tube drainage; 3. Patients or relatives request to suspend the trial.
