Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients with definite diagnosis of carotid stenosis; 2. Indications for surgery, reference to American cardiac surgery guidelines AHA and European guidelines for vascular surgery ESVS 3. Exclusion of taboo; 4. Informed consent form signed by the legal representative of the patient or patient.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Pregnancy or perinatal period; 2. Suffering from severe heart, lung and other primary diseases, liver and renal insufficiency (ALT, AST above the normal limit of 2 times or more than the normal value of serum creatinine is more than 2 times), or severe secondary infection; 3. After the onset of neuroprotective agents have been used to treat, including ganglioside, cell two choline phosphate, piracetam, Ding Ji, etc.; 4. Patients with severe mental illness or dementia, poor treatment compliance; 5. The edaravone allergy; 6. Unable to cooperate with, unable to sign informed consent.
