Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. HMFD in stage III (Critical type, pre-respiratory and circulatory failure) according to Expert Consensuswith Enterovirus 71 (EV71) infection (2011 Version), and a heart rate of threshold or higher (threshold heart rate changes with age,Table 1); 2. threshold heart rate of different age (beat/min): 3year=140.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. primary cardiopulmonarydisease, such as severe congenital heart disease, II or III degree atrioventricular block, sinus bradycardia; 2. abandon treatment due to social or economic reasons.
