Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. men or women age 18-80 years old; 2. carotid atherosclerosis plaque( intima-media thickness>=1.5mm) detected by carotid artery ultrasound; 3. patients who are using statin therapy; 4. patients or their legal representative who have signed informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. patients with cerebral hemorrhage or hemorrhagic cerebral infarction; 2. acute ischemic stroke patients within 1 month of onset; 3. coma patients; 4. patients with a platelets count <80×10^9/L, or bleeding tendency disease such as blood disease, peptic ulcer; 5. patients with malignant tumor, severe infection, impaired liver function or renal dysfunction; 6. pregnant women.
