14 Years to 60 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Individuals with anti NMDAR encephalitis who did not respond to first-line and second-line immunotherapy from onset; 2. Severity: mRS score=5, or intensive care unit stay> 1months; 3. The parents should provide consent for every patient before initiating the intervention.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) complicated with connective tissue disease and infectious encephalopathy; 2) contradictions of immunosuppressive agents; 3) pregnant or break-feeding women; 4) server dysfunction of liver, kidney, digective tract or serious systemic infection; 5) allergic to methotrexate.
