50 Years to 90 Years
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Age>50; 2. Advanced dry AMD with >250microns of geographic atrophy involving central fovea; 3. BCVA of study eye worse than 0.05, BCVA of fellow eye better =0.05 or better; 4. Good general health; 5. Able to understand and willing to sign the informed consent.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Hemoglobin1.5;creatinine level>1.3mg/dL; 3. Presence of glaucomatous optic neuropathy in the study eye; 4. Cataract likely to need surgery <1 year; 5. Cataract or other eye surgery within previous 3 months; 6.History of retinal detachment repair in the study eye; 7. Uveitis or other intraocular inflammatory disease; 8. Any other sight-threatening ocular disease; 9. Participation within previous 6 months in and clinical trial of a drug by ocular or systemic administration; 10. History of malignancy (except excised basal cell or squamous cell of skin); 11. History of myocardial infarction in previous 12 months; 12. Histoty of diabetes mellitus; 13. History of cognitive impairments or dementia; 14. Any current immunosuppressive therapy other than intermittent or low dose corticosteroids; 15. Other medical condition that limits patient compliance, patient safety, or alters study results.
