Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Severe hypercapnic COPD patients admitted into the hospital because of acute exacerbation were recruited for the study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: COPD patients combined with pneumothorax or heat failure,asthma, pulmonary tuberculosis or serious diseases of other organs.
