18 Years to 40 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. BP =140/90 mmHg after 20 weeks gestation Proteinuria (300 mg/24 hr or 1+ result on dipstick specimen); 2. gestation = 34 weeks; 3. singleton pregnancy; 4. presenting for elective Caesarean delivery.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients in labor; those with chronic hypertension, multiple gestation, diabetes, or coagulopathy; or those given ß-tocolytic drugs were not included in the study
