Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Adults aged 18 to 65 years with a clinical diagnosis of tuberculous meningitis who can oral doses of isoniazid and the isoniazid was included in the treatment plan were eligible to enter the trial.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients were not eligible to enter the trial if they were obstructive hydrocephalus or serious tuberculous meningitis patients, or if the consent of either the patient or the patients relatives was not obtained. Other exclusion criteria were pregnancy and breastfeeding lactation, a known contraindication to isoniazid, HIV/ARDS, serious basic diseases, severe cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, other disease of central nervous system. Or if the enrolling physician believed that the subjects have any particular disease not be fit for the research.
