Age
45 Years to 75 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Female, natural menopause for at least one year or must be older than 55years if menopause artificially; 2. Without a disease or other factors that may contribute to osteoporosis/With a disease or other factors that may contribute to osteoporosis but these conditions have been stable for at least 1 year; 3. Diagnosed as osteopenia by DXA(-2.5< T score <-1.0)without a history of osteoporotic fractures; 4. Agreed not to take any anti-osteoporotic drugs expect calcium and/or vitamin D supplementation during the study. Signed written informed consent to her participation.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. With a disease or other factors that can induce osteoporosis and the conditions are not stable; 2. Subjects who had ever taken an oral bisphosphonate equivalent to have taken alendronate for more than one month; 3. Subjects who had ever taken a bisphosphonate intravenously once or more.
