Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. ANB=5 degree Wits=2mmAPDI=77 degree; 2. OJ=5mm; 3. Class II molar relationship; 4. convex facial profile which improved with mandibular forward posture; 5. No obvious TMJ symptoms, facial asymmetry. No history of orthodontic treatment; 6. aged 10-13 years old at CVMSII-CVMSIII growth stage.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with missing teeth, impacted teeth, cleft lip and palate, facial trauma, unilateral condylar hypertrophy, tumors, and the history of genetic diseases which would cause facial asymmetry and orthodontic treatment.
