40 Years to 85 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. According to the latest GOLD criteria, the local patients are diagnosed with COPD; 2. Over the past 12 months, more than twice acute exacerbations or hospitalizations because of acute exacerbation of COPD; 3. COPD in stable condition above 4 weeks; 4. The subjects can perform the GOLD recommend medical treatment (regular inhaled ICS+LABA and/ or LAMA ); 5. aged 40-85 years old; 6. Resident (the migratory group) / not resident (control group) in the southern city every winter; 7. without severe heart /renal/liver dysfunction.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. patients that refuse to sign the informed consent; 2. asthma as the main performance; 3. A diagnosis of any of the following diseases: bronchiectasis, silicosis, diffuse panbronchiolitis, active tuberculosis, malignancies; 4. end-stage of COPD, life expectancy is not more than six months; 5. ICS + LABA and / or LAMA can not be used regularly; 6. COPD in stable condition less than 4 weeks; 7. Any other situation that affect the participation in the experiment.
