30 Years to 70 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Male aged 30-70 years; (2) patients had American Society of Anesthesiologists physical status I or II; (3) Patients undergoing hepatectomy; (4) The median duration of operation was 2.5 hours.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) body mass index greater than 30 kg/ m2; (2) diabetes mellitus, cardiovascular, respiratory, or renal diseases; (3) hepatic encephalopathy, psychiatric illnesses, or neuropathy; (4) history of acute or chronic pain; (5) medications known to affect pain threshold or a history of either alcohol or drug abuse.
