Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. pathologically confirmed NPC; 2. no history of chemoradiation therapy; 3. aged 16-75 years; 4. Kamofsky Performance Status >=70; 5. to be able to receive nursing interventions; 6. no history of mental disorders and conscious disturbance; and 7. willing to participate and signed the informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. patients with recurrence; 2. received radiotherapy only; or 3. with distal metastases at diagnosis (stage IV).
