Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 900 ASA physical status I- II term nulliparas (>37 weeks) for selected cesarean section were enclosed in this prospective, observational study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria were as follows: contraindications to spinal anesthesia, BMI>30 kg/m2, a history of abuse of illicit drugs and coexisting pregnancy-induced problems or organ disease

COMT Val158Met and OPRM1 A118G gene polymorphisms;The frequency and intensity of chronic pain and its impact on daily life after 3,6 and 12 months of operation;

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
The state anxiety and trait anxiety of patients before operation ;Patients demographic data (age, height and weight), surgical and pathological historyand obstetric history (parity, gestational age and position of the fetus );The level of dermatomal sensory block, effect of anesthesia, duration of operation;Postoperative pain severity at rest and on movement at 4h intervals for 48 h postoperatively, postoperative analgesia consumptions of intravenous patient-controlled analgesia( PCIA);
