18 Years to 60 Years
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients undergo conventional abdominal laparoscopic operation; 2. Aged from 18 -60 years; 3. Patients with an American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physiological status I-II; 4. Cognitively intact with the ability to sign informed consent.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Chronic pain syndromes such as fibromyalgia or complex regional pain syndrome; 2. History of long term use of daily opioids; 3. Allergies to medications used in this study such as: fentanyl, propofol, midazolam; 4. Impaired cognitive function or inability to understand the study protocol; 5. Communication barriers; 6. Unstable cardiovascular disease and hypertension; 7. Central nervous system disease; 8. Endocrine system diseases; 9. Liver and kidney dysfunction; 10. Pregnancy or breast feeding; 11. Previous abdominal surgery; 12. Gastric or appendix perforation.
