Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: adult patients with brochial asthma diagonized according to GINA (2012)
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Stable asthma patients should have no asthma exacerbation, respiratory tract infection or systemic corticosteroid use in the preceding 4 weeks and are not accompanied by parenchymal lung disease apparent on chest radiography, diabetes mellitus, cardiovascular disease, pregnancy, autoimmune diseases and tumors. Patients, in whom sputum induction could not be achieved, were also excluded. Acute asthma patients, who need endotracheal intubation or tracheostomy and mechanical ventilation and in whom sputum induction could not be achieved are excluded.
