Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: The PSCI criteria includes six conditions: 1. written informed consent was obtained from each participant; 2. the subjects have the history of stroke and/or the neuroimaging (CT or MRI) showes evidence of cerebrovascular disease; 3. cognitive impairment is judged to have a vascular cause and Montreal Cognitive Assessment Score is less than 26; 4. first stroke, duration is less than or equal to 1 years; 5. age 45–80 years; 6. The condition is stable, conscious, with stable vital signs.The PSCN criteria includes seven conditions: (1) Over the same period hospitalized stroke patients,their age, gender and education level are macthed with the PSCI; (2) cognitive impairment is judged to have a vascular cause and Montreal Cognitive Assessment Score is greater than or equal to 26; (3) written informed consent was obtained from each participant; (4) the subjects have the history of stroke and/or the neuroimaging (CT or MRI) showes evidence of cerebrovascular disease; (5) first stroke, duration is less than or equal to 1 years; (6) age 45-80 years; (7) The condition is stable, conscious, with stable vital signs. The control group criteria includes three conditions (1) The same period in our hospital from other departments, the three groups' age, gender, level of education are matched; (2) no complaints of cognitive function impairment; (3) the Montreal Cognitive Assessment Score is greater than or equal to 26.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: the stroke groups are excluded seven conditions (1) other diseases which can cause cognitive impairment confirmed by checking such as brain tumor, brain trauma, brain parasitic diseases and so on; (2) there are serious speech, vision, hearing impairment or mental disorders,which will influence cognitive examination; (3) The anamnesis or doctors or family members confirmed that the patients had cognitive impairment ago or had used drugs related cognitive impairment before sick; (4) the Beck Depression Inventory greater than 13; (5) alcohol, drug abuse; (6) if they have any of the following conditions: heart failure, respiratory failure, other organ failure; (7) pregnant and lactating women. The control group criteria excludes six conditions: (1) exclusion of dementia, cerebral vascular disease and other central nervous system diseases which can cause cognitive impairment; (2) there are serious speech, vision, hearing impairment or mental disorders, which will influence cognitive examination; (3) the Beck Depression Inventory greater than 13; (4) alcohol, drug abuse; (5) if they have any of the following conditions: heart failure, respiratory failure, other organ failure; (6) pregnant and lactating women.
