Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. To be aged 18 to 60 years old; 2. APACHE II score more than 10 scores; 3. The patients have no heart diseases, with severe infection or 18 patients with septic shock of critically ill patients, the cardiac output for low cardiac output group, normal cardiac output, high cardiac output group; 4. Using PiCCO monitor patients with hemodynamic status, the continuous determination of CO, in patients with heart rate measurement for the first time according to the calibration set three consecutive cold saline PiCCO equipment CO, and determination of blood brain natriuretic peptide, and cardiac output was measured in, 1, 3, 5 day 0 respectively at the same time, the determination of blood brain natriuretic peptide. Measured value for statistical analysis, looking for changes in heart rate of the relationship between brain natriuretic peptide levels change; 5. clinically used in the diagnosis of septic shock standards based on 2008 adults infected with septic shock hemodynamic monitoring and support guide, including: (1) there is a clear clinical infection; (2) the presence of SIRS; (3) systolic blood pressure is lower than 90 MMHG or the original foundation value reduced by more than 40 MMHG, at least for an hour, or depend on the infusion or drugs to maintain blood pressure; (4) there are tissue perfusion bad performance, such as less urine (less than 30 ml/h) more than an hour, or acute consciousness disorder; 6, 28 patients survival rate as the end of the clinical intervention and patients into survival group and death group, the comparison between the two groups of brain natriuretic peptide levels, to assess their influence on prognosis.
