Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status I-III; no chronic treatment with drugs that act on neuropathic pain; No antidepressant or anticonvulsant medications, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, or opioid.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Chronic treatment with drugs that act on neuropathic pain; Patients taking antidepressant or anticonvulsant medications, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, or opioid analgesics; Patients with severe hepatic or renal impairment, or history of diabetes; or allergies to any of the used drugs.
