18 Years to 85 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. meet the dignostic criteria of severs sepsis or septic shock published by Surviving Sepsis Campaign Guidelines Committee 2012; 2. To be aged 18 to 85; 3. patients or his/her family members sign the informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. pregnant; 2. age beyond 85 or under 18; 3. patients or family members do not agree to participate in the trial; 4. taking steroids or other medicines that influence immune systems for more than 6 months; 5. co-exist serious organ disfunction due to other diseases rather than severe sepsis or septic shock; 6. end stage of malignant tumor or terminal illness; 7. HIV infection.
