Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Ages: between 18-75 years old, both male and female; 2. Clinically and mycologically proven onychomycosis; 3. Written informed consent will be obtained from the patients for the study, follow-up visits, and evaluations 4. Patients will require having neither topical antifungal medications within 1 month prior to the study nor any systemic antifungal medications within 6 months.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Systemic antifungal therapy; 2. Use of nail coloring dyes which change nail pigmentation; 3. Use of photosensitivity inducing medications; 4. Pregnancy; 5. Existence of subungual hematoma or nevoid subungual formation; 6. Existence of concomitant nail disorders such as psoriasis of nail plate, lichen planus and atopic dermatitis; 7. Exclusion of patients whom had side effects and treatment had to be stopped but they were included in the side effects rate; 8. Physicians consider that the patient did not comply to the criteria of this study.
