Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: One hundred parturients undergoing selective caesarean section were enrolled, with ASA I or II, full-term and monofetal pregnancy.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: trathecal block contraindications, gestational diabetes mellitus, hypertension in pregnancy, preeclampsia, placental presentation and fetal distress
