18 Years to 70 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) the age of 18 years old or more, or less 70 years old; Gender not limited; (2) the clinical diagnosis of hepatitis b cirrhosis portal hypertension andmassive haemorrhage of upper gastrointestinal tract, surgical treatment for the first time; (3) under gastroscope confirmed severe varicose vein of the esophagus; (4) the Child - Pugh class for A or B, scoring nine points or less; (5) 50*10^9/L or less platelet; (6) voluntarily signed informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) uncontrollable ascites; (2) hepatic encephalopathy grades II-IV hepatorenal syndrome; (3) gastrointestinal bleeding; (4) malignancy; (5) previous gastrointestinal surgery; (6) hypertensiondiabetes mellitusother liver diseasesignificant respiratory or cardiac dysfunction; (7) neurological and psychiatric disorders; (8) receiving any antibiotics during the previous 3 week before specimen collection; (9) thyroid dysfunction; (10) Inflammatory bowel disease; (11) Gastric mucosal atrophy; (12) treatment with gastric acid secretion inhibitors within 7 days before inclusion; (13) using any medication affecting GI motility in 3 days; (14) other gastrointestinal symptoms which can be explained.
