Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. a proliferating IH that was diagnosed according to the criteria of the International Society for the Study of Vascular Anomalies; 2. superficial IH with an area larger than 6 cm2; and 3. agreement to participate and signed informed consent provided by patients guardians.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients who had any contraindications or complications (e.g. ulceration, a local infection, bronchial asthma). Additional exclusion criteria included the patients with a deep component to their hemangioma or had other multiple treatments before
