Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Backleg pain patients met the diagnostic criteria of lumbar intervertebral disc protrusion; 2. Age: 20 to 70 years old; 3. Pathogenesis: lasting for or more than 3 months; 4. Patients without taking analgesics or other analgesic treatment within 1 week; 5. Patients without the habit of drinking coffee or tea; or patients with the habit of drinking coffee or tea(more than or including 3 cups/day for or more than 1 month of dringk habbit); 6. Patients without severe cardiopathic, encephalopathic, liverish, nephropathic, endocrinic or hematopoietic complication; 7. Patients who know the study and sign the informed consent; If any of the above items are answered "No", the patient will be excluded.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with severe lumbar intervertibral disc protrusion and surgical intervention is necessary; 2. Patients taking analgesics for a long term; 3. Patients complicated with developmental spinal stenosis or other severe malformation; 4. Patients with severe cardiopathic, encephalopathic, liverish, nephropathic, endocrinic or hematopoietic complication; 5. Patients with malignant tumor or in pregnancy; 6. Patients with skin breakage, ulcer or dermotosis; 7. Patients with psychiatry disorders; If any of the above items are answered "Yes", the patient is excluded.
