Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: all patients who were diagnosed to have DSR and treated at the General Hospital of Tianjin Medical University, Tianjin, China

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: patients with DSR who died in the emergency department, or patients who had undergone laparotomy prior to admission to our hospital or patients who were transferred to other trauma centres.
