Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Matching the diagnostic criteria for stage 4, 5 (non-dialysis) of chronic kidney disease (referring to KDIGO guidelines, 2012, GFR < 29.9 ml/min) at the age between 20 and 80 year-old; 2. Stable baseline values for the index of blood pressure, blood glucose, electrolyte, and anemia etc., which are controlled as within targeted ranges in treating chronic kidney disease as possibleand strictly abiding by the living management and dietary requirements for chronic kidney diseases (high quality protein diet); 3. No use of related antibiotics, hormones and immunosuppressants in the last three months; 4. The absence of the rectum related disorders (hemorrhoids, rectocele, anal fistula, etc.) at present;5.Patients willingness to participate in scientific research projects and sign the informed consent.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. No major complications related to cardiovascular and respiratory system diseases; 2. Unable to cooperate with enema treatments; 3. Failure to tolerate enema treatments due to nervousness and too young or too old ages; 4. No gastrointestinal diseases in the last year (including chronic gastroenteritis, irritable bowel syndrome and others related to the intestinal diseases) .
