Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Female patients, ASA I–II, aged 18–60 years and with a body mass index (BMI) of 18-30 kg/m*2 requiring elective gynecologic operation under general anesthesia were included. According to different surgical procedures, all patients were divided into two groups: patients in open surgery group (Group 1); patients in laparoscopic surgery group (Group 2).
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Specifically, the patients with cirrhosis, hepatitis, hepatoma, heart failure or arrhythmia, renal dysfunction (defined as a creatinine clearance of =30 mL/min), water-electrolyte disturbances, acid-base imbalances or neuromuscular disorders were excluded from the study. None of the patients was receiving medications known to interfere with neuromuscular blocking agents, such as antibiotics and anticonvulsants. Patients with anticipated difficult intubation (Mallampati score [11] III and more) were also excluded.
