Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. The treatment of cervical GSM or cervical spine injuried by single segment ACDF; 2. The age between 30-50; 3. The X-ray and MRI images of preoperative and postoperative are in detail; 4. The same group of surgeon carry out the operation; 5. The patient could reexamine after the operation at regular intervals.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Be classificated above grade two according to the radiographic grading of degenerative chang-es at adjacent leves which is made by Hilibrand AS; 2. Be classificated above grade three according to the Pearce.
