Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients have chronic kidney disease with age from 18 to 80; 2. Patients who were in accordance with diagnosis standard of chronic renal failure both in western medicine and TCM; 3. Patients who haven't received peritoneal dialysis or hemodialysis with serum creatine level 133-707umol/L, or creatine clearance rate level: 15-60ml/min/1.73m2; 4. Patients who refuse to receive dialysis therapy with serum creatine level above 707umol/L.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Being or prepare to be pregnant or being suckling period; 2. Unable to collaborate, eg: patients with mental disease; 3. Combining severe disease as follow: carcinoma (active stage), hepatocirrhosis (discompensation stage) or hematopoietic system disease, etc.; 4. Combining infection; 5. Combining acute urinary obstruction, needed to be treated by surgery; 6. Severe heart failure, NYHA grade III or above; 7. Cardiomyopathy or Cardiac and Cerebrovascular event occured in 3 months before inclusion; 8. Undergoing corticosteroid or NSAIDs or immunosuppressive drug therapy; 9. Plan to have urgent hemodialysis; 10. Allergic to one or two Chinese medicinal herbs in TCM formula of this trial; 11. Other clinical trials participants.
