Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) a proliferating IH located at a non-mucosal site that was diagnosed according to the criteria of the International Society for the Study of Vascular Anomalies; (2) no other type of previous treatment; (3) patients were not older than 6 months; (4) the IH had an area between approximately 2 and 10 cm2 and a degree of thickness between 2 and 6 mm, according to B-ultrasonography; (5) no infectious diseases and preventive inoculation within 7 days; (6) no history of asthma, allergic rhinitis, respiratory diseases, congenital heart diseases and allergies to timolol; (7) agreement to participate and signed informed consent was provided by the patients guardians.

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients who are unwilling to be included; 2. Patients who are not in accord with inclusion criteria
