40 Years to 90 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Male or female patients, 40-80 years of age, with grade III-IV age-related cataract were enrolled. Patients were schedule toundergo LenSx femtosecond laser-assisted cataract surgery or conventional phacoemulsification.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Excluded were patients with allergy to any of the study medications,conjunctival allergy or infectious disease, history ofocular chemical or thermal burn, glaucoma or ocular hypertension,any ocular operation within 3 months prior toenrolment, corneal contactlens wear, history of serious systemic disease, orother conditions that in the opinion of the investigator precluded enrolment. Women who were pregnant or lactating were not permitted to enroll in the study.
