COPDgroup versus CPFEgroup:pulmonary rehabilitation program

Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: CPFE: diagnosed when high-resolution CT (HRCT) chest scans showed emphysema and fibrosis,and individuals with secondary pulmonary interstitial fibrosis including connective tissue related interstitial lung disease, chronic exogenous allergic alveolitis, pulmonary sarcoidosis stage IV and pneumoconiosis were excluded; COPD: diagnosed in accordance with the Global Initiative for Chronic Obstructive Lung Disease (GOLD)2017 guidelines, staying in a stable clinical condition with no exacerbations in the preceding 2 weeks, and individuals with other pulmonary diseases including bronchiectasis, asthma, interstitial lung fibrosis, and lung cancer were excluded.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) Patients with other serious cardiopulmonary disease including asthma, bronchiectasis, lung cancer, unstable cardiac disease; (2) Patients in state of acute exacerbations of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease or interstitial pulmonary fibrosis that associate pulmonary infection or severe respiratory failure; (3) Patients combined with other muscle neurological deficiencies; (4) Patients unable to complete a pulmonary rehabilitation program ,6MWD and pulmonary function test; (5) Patients previous participated in a pulmonary rehabilitation program.
