Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) above 30 years old; (2) post-bronchodilator forced expiratory volume in 1 s (FEV1)/ forced vital capacity (FVC) value<0.70, FEV1<80% predicted; and (3) stable conditions with no infection or exacerbation for at least 4 weeks.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) a history of pulmonary surgery; (2) previous diagnosis of advanced cancer or other severe diseases; and (3) mental or cognitive disorders.
