18 Years to 75 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) aged from 18 to 75 years; (2) Histopathology and clinical proved oral erosive OLP; (3) Erosive OLP, and the erosive area is more than 1cm2; (4) The patient has been diagnosed as diabete mellitus more than 1 year, and did not change therapeutic regime for 2 months; (5) Physical examination such as blood pressure, complete blood cell count, hepatic and renal clinical biochemistry, ultrasonic examination of abdomen, chest X-ray, electrocardiogram are normal; (6) Subject decided independently to participate in the study and sign informed consent; (7) non-smoker.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) other serious system diseases except diabete mellitus; (2) Aggressive and generalized periodontitis or other periodontitis as a manifeststion of system diseases; (3)Those with other severe oral mucous diseases; (4) Those taking immunopotentiating or immunosuppressive agents during the previous 3 months; those having topical treatment of lichen planus within a week; (5) Pregnancy or intention of pregnancy or lactation or use of contraceptives of steroid hormone recently; (6) People with mental disabilities; (7) Those with serious complications from diabetes; (8) People has lichenoid reaction caused by amalgam restorations or drugs; (9) Lichenoid disease induced by amalgam or other drugs; (10) People who coming late to an appointment or not following directions.
