Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: patients who >=18years old, expected to receive MV >48 h, According to the diagnostic crieteria of ATS[3], if the patient has a radiographic infiltrate that is new or progressive, along with clinical findings suggesting infection, which include the new onset of fever (temperature >=38.5 degree C) or hypothermia (temperature 12*10^9/L) or leukopenia (WBC count <4*10^9/L), and decline in oxygenation, a fiberoptic bronchoscopy was performed within the first 24 h after the clinical diagnosis of pneumonia was suspected.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. received MV less than 48h; 2. missing microbiological analysis or clinical imformation.
