Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with the diagnosis of unilateral ureteral obstruction (UUO) and a normal contralateral kidney, intrarenal pelvis

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with bilateral urinary obstruction, extrarenal pelvis, UUO with an abnormal or absent contralateral kidney, recurrence of urinary tract obstruction, persistent urinary tract infection, and those with no objective evidence of successful relief of obstruction after treatment.
