Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. With one or several serum/plasm markers for hepatitis B virus infection. The markers used include hepatitis B surface antigen,hepatitis B e antigen, hepatitis B e antibody,hepatitis B core antibody, hepatitis B virus DNA and Pre-S1 antigen; 2. The participants could present as non-active hepatitis B virus carriers, chronic hepatitis B, liver fibrosis and cirrhosis, primary liver cancer or restoration after infection; 3. Able and willing to provide signed informed consent and be followed up; 4. Male and female aged 18 to 80 years old.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients of chronic hepatitis C, autoimmune liver diseases, genetic and metabolic liver diseases and drug-induced liver disease; 2. Patients with serious clinical condition of other organs except the liver which may lead to liver injury.
